Shelf Spines were born out of a distaste for the unused adjustable shelf holes that come with custom closets and shelving. Sure, there are tiny stickers and plugs you can use to moderately improve the aesthetics, but I wasn’t impressed and didn’t want to spend the hours upon hours to “install” them.
So I set out to solve the problem of my closets not being finished. The result, Shelf Spines! A 2 piece system that allows for easy and quick self-installation. I liked the outcome of my design so much I submitted for a provisional patent with the USPTO!
The “foot” component inserts into any shelf system adjustable shelf hole (typically this is a 5mm hole). A groove around the circumference of the head of the foot allows for the Spine to click into place. Simply measure and cut the Spine to fit the open space, wash/rinse/repeat and you’ve finished your closets all by yourself!
